Mo came off his scooter, cracked his pelvis and broke his shoulder - but is on the mend.

France June 2009
We stayed in the totally idyllic Labat Grange with Nanna, Opa and Big Alan B. Noah had his first taste of air travel and the rest of the posse drove down in the car - a big bonus for us as it meant hardly any luggage for the plane (thanks Opa for driving and Nanna for navigating!).
After a slightly dodgy start (Noah got a tummy bug the day before we left) we settled into holiday life easily. The gite was so pretty and days were filled with croissants for breakfast, lunch under the big shady trees and long dinners putting the world to rights! Opa BBQ'd, Nanna rustled up delicious faire and even Mo roasted a chicken!
Mo and I were treated to 24 hours of day release and checked ourselves into the most amazing chateaux run by an American/English couple who really knew how to look after you. We were the only guests, our room was like a castle and we were spoiled rotten!
We have lots of pics but they are still on the camera, I'll upload them as soon as I can.

Noah's 1st Birthday
How many 1 year olds get 3 days of celebrations? Shame Noah probably wont remember them but lots of fun for us!!!
On Friday 20th Mo took the day off and we set off to Putney Heath (Noah on his new trike) and had a super picnic.

The following day we had a BBQ (photo's below courtesy of Grandma and Grandad) and then as if that wasnt enough, Nanna and Opa organised a surprise cake once we arrived at our holiday gite in France.
Thanks everyone for making it a great day!

Bank holiday weekend
This weekend we had a visit from Grandma and Grandad - hoorah. We had all sorts of fun, playing in the garden, shopping, a trip to the park and lunch at Carluccio's. Life is tough for an 11 month old with a hectic social diary!
At the end of the day Noah's chilling out watching In The Night Garden and cuddling with his Dad on the sofa.
Best of all this weekend though was our first encounter with ice cream!

Summer is here.... isnt it?
So what have we been up to lately? We had a really great day out with Alun and Katie; we followed a walk around the outskirts of Newbury, Katie was a great map reader (most of the time) and Alun and Mo took turns carrying Noah:-
After our long walk, we had a super meal in the pub and A&K had even found one with high chairs so that Noah had somewhere to sit and push his peas around while we all tucked into some fine pub grub.
We've also had fun blowing bubbles in the garden and we're counting the days till we get the new decking!
Noah has started cruising around the house holding onto the furniture, walls, us, anything he can get his hands on which will allow him to practice walking. He's also developing a fine right foot so watch out Beckham!
Tomorrow is Mo's triathlon - hoorah! Good luck baby, I know you can do it and Noah and I will be there cheering from the sidelines and of course taking pics of you in your wetsuit and lycras :-)

Walkie Talkie readie foodie
Not really got any actual photographic proof, which is incredible considering the amount of photos I have taken, but the boy is now standing. Not walking yet (sorry for the misleading title) but standing up and reaching for anything he thinks he can get his hands on...
He is also saying lots of things like "popopopopop", "mumumumumumum" and "babababababababab" which can only be disapointing for Dad...
He is reading confidently...
And doing well at feeding himself... he is so advanced...
Went to Centre Parcs and it was wicked fun, really enjoyed it, and Noah loved the ducks and geese that visited each morning, presumably after food (which they never got) Just updating the Noah faces video at the moment will upload it very soon

Happy New Year
Hi there, Sorry we've not been updating the blog but we lost our internet connection at home on Christmas eve and only just got it back thanks to the wonderful customer services people at Sky!!
Some Christmas Pics...
Christmas was ace - Grandma and Grandad changed their plans for us last minute and came to Putney so we had a super time at 96 Crestway. Zoe and Rowena managed to cook an amazing Christmas dinner without so much as a sideways look at each other; Noah LOVED all his pressies which was just as well because he got LOADS; Mo only had to go to the garage 3 times to pick up things we forgot to buy and William was washer upper, general organiser and made sure the whole day ran smoothly 0oh and cooked us a devine brekky!
We finished off the Xmas celebrations with a trip to see Nanna and Opa in Hanwell where Noah got even MORE pressies although only marginally more than Mo. Alun and Kate and Max were there too and we had a cosy old time chilling out infront of the fire.
Some Christmas Pics...
